Creativity can take many forms, and it doesn’t always have to look so obvious. For example, a surgeon who spends most of his/her day operating, may find a creative groove in writing a scientific paper which feels exhilarating and transformative.
For me it comes in the form of food. Creating beautiful, tasty and healthy food is my ultimate indulgence. This was not always apparent to me, or so I thought. Rather it was something that I started paying attention too. I realized that every time I was making healthy meals for myself I began to feel better, happier, and completely lost in the activity.
These days I view creativity as that fine intersection where enjoyment meets significance, for yourself and for those around you.
Give yourself the gift of discovering your creative outlet, by carving out time in your schedule to express yourself.
