The ‘Morning Rush’ smoothie

Today is Chicago freezing rain and snow, but I made sure to make this smoothie

I find the mornings are usually a little hectic in our home. As a Mom to three amazing kids I am usually the first one up trying to get all three to start their morning routines. Preparing breakfast, checking last minute homework, while imparting daily wisdom with a pinch of confidence seems to be our typical morning. Today, in the midst of all this I wanted to whip up an easy, and delicious smoothie to sooth my soul.   Try this smoothie out and see if it sooths your soul.

The Morning Rush smoothie

1 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries

1 ½ cup unsweetened almond milk

½ plain Greek Yogurt

1 teaspoon chia seeds


Take all the ingredients and blend them together until smooth.
