Best of Both Worlds Smoothie

You come home from the gym, or from a run/brisk walk—you’re hungry, and those darn girl scout cookies are sitting on your kitchen counter—so tempting to reach in and take a couple—but no, this morning you decide to make this smoothie instead. Let’s face it change is hard–but it is possible. It all begins with simple modifications to your daily routine.

My best of Both Worlds Smoothie

¼ cup fresh blueberries

½ of your favorite yogurt (I like Greek vanilla)

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1 teaspoon flaxseed

1 orange freshly squeezed

½ grapefruit freshly squeezed

Garnish-crumble up one girl guide cookie and sprinkle on top of your smoothie—Best of both worlds.

Directions:

Take all ingredients and blend together in food processor or I use my magic bullet; and enjoy.
