Homemade pumpkin spice smoothie. I realized that many of the store bought smoothies are over the top sweet, with so many unwanted calories. I decided to tackle this by creating my own healthier version. With a little ‘extra’ effort I even made my own homemade whip cream on top.
1 (5.3 oz) container of your favorite low fat vanilla Greek yogurt
2-3 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
1 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
Optional if you prefer it sweeter than add maple syrup or agave nectar.
Garnish with a dollop of whip cream and cinnamon
Directions-blend all ingredients together and enjoy.
